Up to 4 people can enjoy the cottage and still have room to stretch out and relax. We stayed in a cottage with a king sized bed and pull out couch in the living room. From the bright white facade, the ceramic wood tile, white ship lap walls and the crisp-clean decor, we felt right at home!

It was so convenient when we arrived because we checked in a few days earlier online, a special code was emailed to us when our room was available, and we used that code on the keypad to access the cottage.Īnd wow, what a surprise! I just adored the quaint cottage feel as soon as we arrived. A cute little place with a cozy front and back porch, kitchenette, living room, dining room, double sink for the bathroom, shower and kin sized bed in the bedroom. We were pleasantly surprised by the tiny cottage we pulled up to.

Our accommodations were located just across the road and down the street at the lower park. You can’t miss the gorgeous facade, the fun windmill and the strawberry sign that greet you upon arrival. The main Inn is located right off of the main road that runs right through this quaint town. The Strawberry Inn was definitely easy for us to find. We shot straight up the Beeline Highway from Shea and arrived in a little over an hour. Strawberry is located just north of Payson and easily accessible from any part of Arizona! You can take the I17 and cut east through Camp Verde or use the Beeline Highway (87). We wanted to stay fairly close to home but still far enough away that we could explore some fun places that we have never visited, and of course try some new eateries!

Last week my husband and I enjoyed an Arizona staycation at The Strawberry Inn. To learn more about The Strawberry Inn and to book your stay, visit you to The Strawberry Inn for hosting us! You might get lucky enough to catch them when they are offering their signature maple pumpkin pie - an absolute must-try.

Strawberry inn plus#
The Strawberry Inn, which includes both the iconic Inn on Highway 87, plus quaint cottages and airstreams around the corner on Fossil Creek Road, has adorned the properties with ample Christmas cheer. In the winter, this means you can leave the mild Phoenix weather behind and escape to cooler temps, pine trees and maybe even a little snow in the majesty of Northern Arizona. Strawberry is located less than two hours north of Phoenix and is on average 20 to 30 degrees cooler. One of the most fabulous things about Arizona is the ability to drive just a few hours from the Valley to experience an entirely different climate and scenery. Visiting The Strawberry Inn is always magical, but it is even more special during the holiday season.
